Requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.) degree with major in Social Studies

The Bachelor of Science in Education is offered in Social Studies. This is an appropriate choice for prospective secondary teachers, who often need expertise in more than one subject area. Courses are drawn from several departments -- economics, geography, history, intercultural studies and political science. A minor in social studies is also offered.
