Where were you born?
Sedalia, Missouri.

Why did you choose JBU?
I was not interested in JBU, but I came to visit with a friend. As soon as I stepped on campus I realized that God was working here. I saw that this was a place that would push me to grow spiritually and academically. After my visit, I ruled out the other schools and only applied to JBU.

What are your hobbies?
Reading, walking, swimming, camping, hanging out with friends

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Psalm 139- I love the whole chapter

Where is your favorite place to hang out in Northwest Arkansas?
Anywhere outdoors or in my living room reading a book or watching a movie

What is your favorite movie?
Anne of Green Gables- I grew up watching this movie and we share the same name!!
Elf- I know this is a Christmas movie, but I watch it year round because it always makes me laugh.

Why did you choose to work in Admissions?
I had an amazing time at John Brown. I want as many students as possible to know and experience JBU.

What is the name of your spouse and children?
My husband’s name is Paul Tharp.

I use a sea salt crystal from Thailand.
