Where are you from?  Paola, KS. So pretty much Kansas City.

Major in college? Biblical and Theological Studies with a double minor in Church Leadership and Family Counseling.

What activities were you involved in at JBU? I was the ticket coordinator for BLUE, and a member of the Bible Department’s “Dead Theologians Society” where we would meet at Dr. Castleman’s house once a month and discuss a reading by a famous (dead) theologian.

Why are you working at JBU? The four best years of my life happened while I was a student at JBU. I made friends whose friendships will last me a lifetime and through experiences, both in and outside of the classroom, I have learned some invaluable life lessons. I can wholeheartedly say God used JBU to make me into the person I am today. JBU is the place to be, and that is why I am working here!

What are your favorite things to do in NWA? I love the downtown communities of Northwest Arkansas. Whether it’s at the Bentonville square, Fayetteville Farmer’s Market, or Main Street Siloam – being outdoors and with people will always put me in my happy place.

What's one word or phrase that describes you? A goofy, theological, dog-loving, church-going guy whose goal is to make the most out of every day.

What are some movies you enjoy? I will forever and always be a fan of Harry Potter. I was the boy that waited until Jr. High to finally accept the fact that I would not be getting an owl-delivered letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

What's something unique to you? I know it's weird... but I don't share milk. Or any dairy products really.

Describe your family: My whole family lives in the Kansas City area. I have two brothers, two sister-in-laws, two nieces, one nephew, and a ginormous, floppy eared yellow lab who is everybody’s friend and goes by the name Dakota – which means ‘friend’.

What quick advice would you give an incoming JBU student? Brace yourself for the best season of your life, the opportunities here are endless.
