Admissions Process for Home Educated Students

You must send us the following items:

  1. Completed application form, including the essay. (You may complete a paper form, or use our online application.)
  2. Home education transcript. Include other high school or college transcripts if applicable. 
  3. Two references, including academic and pastoral recommendations. Please use provided forms.
  4. ACT or SAT score reports.
  5. $25 application fee. (But FREE during September!)

Admissions Deadline

Early application is encouraged, especially for those applying for academic scholarships. Housing is limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Admissions Requirements

Our desire is to admit students who show potential for academic, social, and spiritual growth and development.

Qualified applicants must have an ACT score of 20 or a SAT score of 950 or better, and have a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The following high school level courses should have also been taken:

  • English—4 units 
  • Natural Science—2 units (at least one laboratory) 
  • Mathematics—3 units (4 units for engineering majors) 
  • Social Studies—2 units 
  • American History—1 unit 
  • Foreign Language—2 units are recommended
