Visit Days
Our Visit Days are scheduled to provide you and your parents with a wide variety of activities that expose you to what JBU is all about. Attend a class, spend the night in the dorms, mingle with current students, worship in chapel, visit with professors, admissions counselors, and other important JBU staff during your visit. Your parents will also have specific sessions designed to address concerns that they may have, including a session on financial aid and a Q & A session with President Pollard.

Spotlights on the Visit Days:
On most of our visit days we will be spotlighting different academic divisions, states, or events. That being said, if you can’t make it to the spotlighted day that would best fit your academic interests, don’t worry. We will have many general sessions available during each and every visit day!
Divisional Days:
If you know what you want to major in, then check out the Divisional Visit Days. It would be a prime opportunity for you to get an in depth look at the department and see a little bit more of what it would be like to be a JBU student in that major.
Once again, we will also have other general sessions available. Don’t feel like you can’t come to a particular day just because it doesn’t spotlight your potential major. Please free to come when is most convenient for you and your family!

State Days:
We’ve tried to coordinate with some of our surrounding state’s school district holidays. A good number of our students come from these states, so we are excited to see our prospective students represent their home territory!
If you aren’t from that state, but still want to come on one of this visit days, know that we will welcome you too!

Other Days:
December 11 & 12 – Candlelight
For the past 64 years the Cathedral Choir has been performing this Christmas music event! Visitors travel from around the area to join us in celebrating the season. This would be a great opportunity to see our choir at its best.
January 18 & 19 – Scholarship Competition
This event is our only exclusive visit day. This day is for all of our students that have been invited to come and compete for our top two academic scholarships. For information on how to qualify for this day, please click here.
February 19 & 20 – Family Weekend
Every year our current student families have the opportunity to come and spend the weekend at JBU. This is when our students put on a fabulous event called the Talent Show. So, whether you are a sibling of a current student, or just curious of what talents our students possess, you are welcome to come and join the fun!
April 19 & 20 – JR. Visit Day
So, you are ready for college, huh? Before you hit the ground running as a senior, why not come visit JBU and get a feel for what college will be like! This is a great time to start your college search and learn the ropes.
June 12 & 13 – ERP 2009
You’ve decided that JBU is the place you want to call home for the next four years! Come to ERP, register for classes, meet your new classmates and maybe even find your roommate. This day will help you get all the paperwork out of the way, so that in August you just have to move in and unpack that suitcase!
