About the Advance Program

A good degree is important, but so are many other things. JBU understands that while finishing your degree is a priority, it's not the only thing in your life. The Advance Program is designed to provide a quality education around your schedule. Classes won't eat up every last minute of your time, which means you'll have some left over for all those other important things. JBU's unique focus on Christian values will inspire you to be a better person, to stay focused on your goals, and to motivate others to do the same.

Names matter. Why would you accept anything less when you can get JBU's highly respected name on your resume? As a JBU Advance Program student, you become part of the rich heritage of John Brown University. Since 1919, we've been preparing students to contribute to their families and communities with an education that is academically strong, relevant for the real world, and taught from a Christian perspective. Bottom line: You get more with JBU.

Can you free up one night a week to attend class? That's about what it takes for most programs. In about about a year and a half you can complete the program as an organizational management major, and in a little over two years as an education major. That's not a lot of time, and it's going to pass no matter what you do. Whether or not you have a degree at the end of it is up to you.

Our programs are designed for working adults who have completed approximately two years (60 hours) of college credits. Bachelor's degrees are offered in:

  • Organizational Management
    • emphasis in Business Information Systems
    • emphasis in Healthcare Administration
  • Early Childhood Education

JBU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, among others.
