Who?

You always wanted to finish your degree, but responsibilities and circumstances got in the way. Now you have a family, a job, or both, along with a lot of other priorities. But you have dreams too. With the JBU Advance Program, you can earn the degree you need to transform your vision into reality. JBU's nurturing, Christian environment provides the encouragement you need to finally finish your degree.

Most Advance Program students continue to work full-time. Evening classes are timed so that you can work all day and still get to class on time. Organizational Management majors can maintain a full-time job throughout the program. Early Childhood Education Program students must complete a 12-week internship during the final term, but throughout the first four terms, students can continue to work.

Your life is already full. What you need is a way to finish your degree that doesn't dominate. By taking one class at a time, the time you set aside is spent focusing exclusively on the subject at hand. This allows you to fully master concepts before moving on. It also helps you fit education into your busy schedule as a single piece, rather than a complex set of tasks you need to accomplish.

Our year-around schedule means you can complete your degree more quickly than with traditional semester scheduling.

  • Organizational Management students finish in about 19 months
  • Early Childhood Education students complete their coursework in around two years
"The Advance Program has improved my family and work time. I get to work full-time and still be home with my daughter every night except one (versus three nights a week and online classes.) It has also improved my spiritual life. It is nice to have other Christians you can communicate and pray with."
