Digital Cinema Facilities
The Visual Arts Digital Cinema facilities include two private editing suites, a 5.1 surround sound mixing studio and recording booth, and a studio classroom. We also have one theater-style classroom with 45 seats, a large screen, a projector, and a surround-sound system, used for cinematography and as a screening room for student digital cinema projects.
Digital Cinema Equipment
JBU Digital Cinema has a full selection of the equipment used by professional filmmakers including: Panasonic AF100 cameras with Chrosziel mattebox and follow focus rigs, Canon DSLR cameras with a complete RedRock Micro rig, Steadicam Scout, EZ Jib, Matthew's Doorway Dolly and track, Arri and Kinoflo light kits, Tascam and Sound Devices audio equipment, and grip carts complete with stands, flags, and rigging equipment.
The Windgate Visual Art West building includes two photography studios, a lighting classroom, two traditional and digital darkrooms, a fine art studio, and a student workroom.
