Talent and Variety Show Audition Form 2013
Audition Form Due: Monday, January 28, 2013 by 5pm
Auditions: Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the Cathedral of the Ozarks
Required Technical Rehearsal: Saturday, February 16, 2013
Required Dress Rehearsal: Friday evening, February 22, 2013
Show: Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 7:00pm and 9:00pm (two identical shows)
Prizes: 1st Place - $250; 2nd Place –$170; 3rd Place - $125 in each category
The Talent and Variety show is an annual event held during Family Weekend. Student acts feature a variety of artistic talent from music to dancing to hilarious stunts. This event is sponsored by the JBU Parent Association Council and presented by Vibe, a division of Student Activities. We are so glad you decided to audition!
Auditions will be held on Tuesday January 29, 2013. Please sign up (in Student Development) after filling out this form for a 10-15 minute slot between 3:00pm-11:00pm. You are required to perform the entirety of your act at this audition. The better your audition, the better your chances of getting into the show!
Please bring your own music on a CD or iPod ONLY! No laptops or hard drives.
You will be notified by February 4, 2013 of your selection for the show. If you are selected for Talent Show, ALL members of your group must be attend the required technical rehearsal at your assigned time on Saturday, February 16, 2013 AND the dress rehearsal all evening on Friday, February 22, 2013.
