My name is Andrew Lehr and I am the Resident Director of Walker Hall. My wife, Maria, and I are both from Indiana and are Hoosiers through and through. I graduated from Taylor University with my bachelors in Biblical Literature in 2010. I then worked as a graduate assistant in student programs at TU. I received my Masters in Higher Education and Student Development from TU in the spring of 2012.
During my years as an undergraduate, I served as a Resident Assistant (RA) for two years. I also served as an RA for a freshmen semester abroad program in Greystones, Ireland. I was also involved with several other leadership organizations on campus during my time as a student, all of which heavily influenced my decision to pursue a career in higher education because of its significant impact on my own life. It is a huge gift to be able to life alongside students and to work with such incredible individuals!
I am so excited to be here at John Brown, specifically in Walker Hall. I believe that there are few things as powerful as a Christian university experience. My hope is that the men and women of Walker Hall would be challenged to grow in their relationships with the Lord and with others through the intentional community we are building every day here. I think the residence hall can be a great place of personal growth, developing lifelong friendships, and of high energy!
