Hi, my name is Meredith Baltz and I’m honored to be the Resident Director in Hutcheson Hall.
Before making my way to Siloam Springs, I was living in Indiana completing my Master’s degree at Taylor University and working as the Coordinator of Student Activities at Huntington University. I loved my experience working in Student Activities and I am excited to bring what I learned there to Hutcheson Hall.
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Nashville after high school graduation to attend Belmont University. I loved living in Nashville and had some really cool experiences. Second semester of my Junior year I transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University in the small town of Marion, IN. Talk about culture shock! Changing universities taught me a lot about the importance of residence life in a student’s college experience. This inspired me to seek out a career in higher education.
I loved my years as a college student and I’m so excited to work with college students for my career! I believe that the college experience provides students with many unique opportunities to grow. I am excited to walk alongside the residents of Hutcheson as they navigate their classes, grow their relationships and find out what it means to be a follower of Christ.
