Admission Requirements - Business Administration major

Applicants desiring to major in Business Administration (BSBA) must have 60 hours of transferable credit, as determined by John Brown University, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on the 4.0 scale.

Application Process - Applicants to the BSBA Program must submit:

1.  Application for Admission accompanied by $25 application fee
2.  Official copies of transcripts from all colleges attended. Transcripts must be sent directly by the college or university to John Brown University.

All materials should be sent to the appropriate Admissions Counselor.

Admission Requirements - Organizational Management major

Applicants desiring to major in Organizational Management (OM) must be at least 23 years of age and have 60 hours of transferable credit, as determined by John Brown University, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on the 4.0 scale. Applicants also must have at least two years of relevant work experience.

Application Process - Applicants to the OM Program must submit:

1.  Application for Admission accompanied by $25 application fee
2.  Official copies of transcripts from all colleges attended. Transcripts must be sent directly by the college or university to John Brown University.
3.  Immunization Record - New students who were born on or after January 1, 1957, regardless of the number of hours enrolled, are required by Arkansas law to furnish proof of immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella. MMR vaccination may be confirmed by an immunization record from a doctor's office, health department, or school records. This requirement does not apply to students who are enrolled in online courses only. For more information, please contact your admissions counselor.

Admission Requirements - Liberal Arts major

Applicants desiring to major in Liberal Arts (BSLA) must have 60 hours of transferable credit as determined by John Brown University, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on the 4.0 scale.

Admission Requirements - Undeclared Major

A student who wants to enter one of our Degree Completion Program (DCP) majors and meets the other admission requirements of the associated DCP major, but does not yet have at least 60 hours of prior college credit can be admitted as an Undeclared major until the required 60 hours is reached. These students can take any JBU class as an elective (prerequisites must be met) as long as the intent is to reach 60 hours and then enroll in one of our DCP majors.
