Mr. Rocky Parsons

Adjunct Instructor, Graduate Business

M.B.A., John Brown University

B.S., University of Arkansas

As a former Global Mobility and Project Manager for Walmart Stores, Rocky Parsons was in contact with nationals from several countries every day conducting international business.  He is now able to relate those real-world experiences when teaching Cross-Cultural Business Management and Global Business Practices in JBU's graduate business program.  One such experience was structuring a $1.2 billion acquisition with a group of 30 international banks.  Working with corporations, non-profits, and faith-based organizations around the world has provided him with a broad perspective on cross-cultural operations and communication.

Mr. Parsons teaches for JBU because of its culture.  For him, JBU is the best forum to utilize his experience, skills, and faith for personal and professional development.  It also gives him the opportunity to share what he has learned, to learn from the experiences of others, and to encourage the coming of the Kingdom.

Rocky enjoys meeting talented students from diverse backgrounds and learning from their experiences.
