Let's face it – Thanksgiving is often overshadowed by the Christmas season these days.
And yes, I've been guilty of putting up my tree before Turkey Day in years past, but here's hoping – whether your Christmas shopping is completed or not even started – that we all pause for a few moments this week in a spirit of gratefulness.
So between the turkey and dressing and the Thanksgiving nap, before and after football games and time spent reconnecting with loved ones, let us be thankful for the greatest gift of all – God's amazing grace and the hope of eternal life.
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!" - Psalm 100:4
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
