Why students should choose JBU:

Choosing JBU means choosing a positive, comfortable, yet serious environment for completing your college degree. In an age where knowledge is growing exponentially, it can be a daunting feeling to think of returning to college, studying, preparing for class, participating in an intellectual exchange; however, the JBU classroom is not intimidating—instead it is a supportive and effective environment meant for adults returning to the classroom, a place where what you learn tonight you can apply tomorrow on the job.

What's special about the Degree Completion Program:

One of the great successes of the JBU program is the cohort concept in our Organizational Management and Early Childhood Education programs. You enter the program with approximately 20 or so other adult students and you continue throughout the whole program with this group. It becomes a very supportive atmosphere in which to make this journey.

About Sylvia

Sylvia is a JBU success story. She went through the program as a Branch Coordinator of a $16 million credit union branch. Upon graduation she was promoted to Branch Manager and was with that organization for eight years. When she decided to make a change, Sylvia couldn’t think of any better place to work than to return to John Brown University. She understands the difficulties facing a working mom with children; she knows the anxiety; yet, she also knows the reward! Don’t delay, become an alumni of JBU and know the feeling of success.
