Conferences and Retreats
As a university, we're familiar with overnight guests with tight schedules, and we're comfortable with the complexity of coordinating a campus full of people with varying obligations. JBU has hosted national conferences, tournaments, summer camps, and various multiple-day programs. Our beautiful campus has over one hundred classrooms and meeting spaces for both plenary and breakout sessions as well as various housing options to conveniently accommodate your group. Our newly renovated cafeteria is centrally located on our campus and can serve three meals a day according to the convenience of your schedule. Our AV Staff is available for tech support across campus. Whether you're here for a weekend or for a week-long conference, JBU would love to have you on campus.
If you need some time with your team away from your normal environment, JBU is the perfect location. Nestled in the foothills of the Ozark mountains, John Brown University is quiet and comfortable - the perfect environment to do some strategic brainstorming or quiet contemplation. Hire the Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics to do some team building activities in a board room or on a ropes course. Do some canoeing down the winding Buffalo or Illinois rivers. Sit in silence or stand in worship in our beautiful Cathedral of the Ozarks. Join us for meals in our on-site dining facility. JBU has the resources you need to break away, reevaluate, strategize and return to the front lines.
