David and Bernadine Teague Family Endowed Scholarship
Donor: David and Bernadine Teague
Born in 1942, David and Bernadine Teague grew up in post World War II America, when there was not a lot of money and everyone had to do their share of work to make ends meet. The Teagues knew that, if one really wanted something, it usually required extra work and delayed gratification. Earning a college education required starting long before the need arrived. Growing up in rural California, David earned extra money doing seasonal work. Bernadine’s income came from working in shops and businesses within walking distance. David and Bernadine worked their way through college and created this scholarship to help students achieve a college education.
