Every graduating class from JBU has known of the historic J. Alvin Residence Hall. It's the oldest building on campus, and has been home to generations of young men. Since its construction, the men of J. Alvin have challenged each other to honor God and serve others.
The J. Alvin Renovation Project will preserve this historic place for the benefit of future generations of young men who are seeking God's call for their lives.
>> The Renovation
This spring, a $3 million lead gift was given for the renovation of this historic landmark. After decades of use, the building's rooms will undergo extensive upgrades to improve the overall quality and living environment. The J. Alvin Renovation project will preserve this building's culture and historical value, and bring the rooms up to modern residence hall standards.
