Study Abroad Opportunity
Spend a week in Ireland . . . while earning your M.Ed. degree!
John Brown University’s Graduate School believes that you will further your global perspective by experiencing life in another country. Therefore, in June 2014, students in JBU’s Master of Education program will have the opportunity to spend over a week in Northern Ireland discovering the land of CS Lewis and Saint Patrick. Students will learn from local scholars and professors, visit area school classes, and meet with educational leaders. John Brown University offers international practicums in conjunction with its graduate business programs. International practicums include travel to places in Central America and Asia and are open to all graduate business and leadership students.
The trip will include day excursions to historic and cultural destinations such as the spectacular Antrim Coast, Dun Luce Castle (the inspiration for Narnia’s Cair Paravel) and sites important to the dynamic history of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The study trip is optional and is part of a 3-credit course that applies to all JBU M.Ed. degree programs. Tuition and travel from Northwest Arkansas are included in the cost of the course.
The Master of Education study trip to Northern Ireland is just one of the benefits of completing your graduate degree at John Brown University. Learn more about the Ireland Practicum.
