Dr. Mike Kennelley joined the business faculty in August of 2000. He received his BSBA from the University of Arkansas, his MBA from Pittsburgh State University, and his PhD from Oklahoma State University. He taught at Florida State University for over 10 years. Dr. Kennelley has also taught at the University of Tulsa and has been involved in executive development programs at Florida State University and at the University of Tennessee. He currently teaches Finance, Accounting, and Quantitative Methods courses at John Brown University.
Dr. Kennelley has participated in mission trips to Mexico and Tanzania. He served as a Deacon and was treasurer of the Deacon's fund at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. He has been active in a number of Habitat for Humanity projects and has assisted in hurricane and tornado relief efforts. Dr. Kennelley has been married for over 35 years. He and his wife have four daughters and two granddaughters. When not spending time with his family, Dr. Kennelley enjoys fishing and traveling to other countries.
