German Studies Program
Dates: May 12—June 9 2010
Cost: $4,950
The program will be a four-week, 6 credit hour program. Berlin and the area surrounding north-central Germany provides an ideal location for an unforgettable, life-changing educational experience in the heart of Europe. Our home city for three weeks is Berlin, a major center of western history and world art from the Reformation through the 20th century and today. From Berlin, visits to Luther’s Wittenberg, Eisenach and Wartburg, as well as San Soucci and the North Sea and other sites are part of the itinerary. For the last week of the trip, we journey to Austria’s Pinzgau Valley between Innsbruck and Salzburg and live in a 13th century castle with side trips to Salzburg, a hike in Zell am See and Krimml, the tallest waterfall in the Alps.
