Did you know that Outdoor Leadership Ministries majors:

•    Have the opportunity to work as facilitators, adventure leaders, outdoor ed instructors or zip line guides throughout their 4 years at JBU.
•    Gain an understanding of backpacking equipment, trip planning, camping skills, group management and backpacking trips.
•    Learn how to conduct beginning top rope rock climbing experiences in camps, adventure programs and other wilderness settings.
•    Can obtain key certifications in outdoor skills such as river canoeing, sea kayaking, backcountry travel, search and rescue, swift water rescue and mountain biking.
•    Apply their knowledge through a variety of internships which can include working at a camp in the Sequoia National Park, running wilderness trips in northern Wisconsin, or counseling at a camp in Jamaica.
•    Learn to use experience as a vehicle to promote spiritual formation.
