The University has a strong tradition of excellence in education which contributes dynamically to the intellectual, spiritual, and occupational effectiveness of its graduates.
Two Centers of Excellence contribute to the undergraduate and graduate experience on campus as well as having significant outreach roles to the community. The Center for Relationship Enrichment and the Donald G. Soderquist Center for Business Leadership and Ethics are exciting ventures that mesh with JBU's historic mission.
The financial position of the University is sound, with significant endowment and trust benefits. A recently completed $39.7 million comprehensive campaign contributed to scholarship and endowment funds and will fund construction of two major buildings.
Enrollment is approximately 1,950, including the degree completion and graduate programs, with residential enrollment operating at capacity. The 200-acre campus is part of a beautiful community in the economically vigorous region of Northwest Arkansas, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
All employees must be in agreement with the Faculty Employment Objectives and Articles of Faith (available from the office of the Academic Affairs). Faculty members are expected to take an active role in the spiritual life on campus and the spiritual development of students.
