Delia Haak New Coordinator of Graduate Business Programs
Siloam Springs, Ark (February 7, 2002) — Dr. Delia Haak has been appointed as the new coordinator of John Brown University’s graduate business programs. Haak’s main duties as coordinator will be to direct the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics (MSLE) degree programs. Both the MBA and MSLE are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities and the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education.
Haak expressed excitement about directing these programs. “Our graduate programs are unique in that courses are team-taught by faculty and leading business practitioners with a focus on practical applications and an emphasis in leadership and ethics. With strong support from JBU and The Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics, our graduate programs help equip people to lead with excellence.”
Dr. Haak graduated from JBU with a B.S. in Business Administration. She earned her M.B.A. and completed doctoral studies in Higher Education at the University of Arkansas. Haak’s doctoral thesis received the College of Education’s Dissertation of the Year Award. Haak recently received the 2001 Faculty of the Year award at JBU.
