(March 19, 2004) - (Eureka Springs-AP) -- The state crime lab is still trying to determine the identity of a skeleton found by hikers in a remote area near Eureka Springs this week. The hikers were near Black Bass Lake just outside the Eureka Springs city limits when they came upon the partial skeleton. The heavily wooded area is difficult to get to and it is not known how long the remains were there. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office wants to speak to anyone with information or who has recovered identification, jewelry or clothing from the area.
