Dr. Edward E. Ericson Appointed Associate Dean of Undergrad.
Siloam Springs, Ark (August 22, 2001) — John Brown University is pleased to announce that Dr. Edward Ericson III has been appointed Associated Dean of Undergraduate Studies.
Dr. Ericson earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in History at Indiana University. He joined the JBU faculty in 1994, teaching a variety of courses ranging from Western Civilization, 20th Century World, World War II to American History (U.S. Military) and International Relations.
During his tenure at JBU, Dr. Ericson has served in numerous roles, including Associate Professor of History, Chair of the Social and Behavioral Studies Division, Chair of the History/Political Science Division, Chair of the Curricular Guidelines Task Force. His book, Feeding the German Eagle is published by Praeger Press.
As Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Ericson will join the Office of Academic Affairs in providing the servant leadership needed to help ensure the academic vitality of the faculty and curriculum.
Dr. Ericson lives in Siloam Springs with his wife, Julie an accomplished interior designer.
