JBU Men's Soccer Unable to Top St. Gregory's
Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 20, 2004) — In a game filled with penalties and injuries, the John Brown Golden Eagles men’s soccer team was unable to top St. Gregory’s University Wednesday afternoon. St. Gregory’s was able to score first, but junior Daniel Fleming, assisted by freshman Steven Aparicio, tied the game up with 23 minutes left in the first half. Two minutes later, St. Gregory’s scored their second goal taking the lead into halftime. The Golden Eagles were unable to score in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-1 in favor of St. Gregory’s. John Brown moves to a record of 9-3-2.
JBU’s next game is at Southern Nazarene University Saturday, October 23rd at 3:00 p.m. Their next home game is on Tuesday, October 26th at 2:30 p.m. against Oklahoma Baptist University.
