Siloam Springs, Ark. (January 7, 2006) - The 21st-ranked John Brown Golden Eagles collected their second Sooner Athletic Conference win of the season Saturday against Northwestern Oklahoma State. John Brown never surrendered the lead in the second half, however, eventually taking a 17-point, 56-39 lead after Fanning’s last trey at the 7:24 mark. John Brown shot 43.4% from the field while holding Northwestern to just 28.8%. The Golden Eagles also made 11-of-22 three-point attempts, accounting for exactly half of their points.
