Golden Eagles Sign Fayetteville Christian’s Jackson

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 21, 2006) — The John Brown Golden Eagles signed Fayetteville Christian (Ark.) basketball standout Devaughn Jackson recently for the 2006-07 season. The 6-6 forward is a native of Nassau, Bahamas.

Jackson’s career averages were 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game, and he was a two-time all-conference and all-district tournament performer. He was named most valuable player of the regional tournament during his senior season and also made the Class A all-state team in 2005-06.

Behind Jackson’s leadership, Fayetteville Christian picked up wins over 6A Broken Arrow (Okla.) and 3A Sequoyah (Okla.).
