Murray Named NAIA National Player of the Week

Siloam Springs, Ark (November 18, 1999) — John Brown University Lady Golden Eagles volleyball junior outside hitter Melody Murray was named NAIA National Player of the Week for the week beginning November 8th. Murray led the Lady Golden Eagles to a 5-0 match record for the week, including a three match sweep at the Sub-Regional Tournament this past weekend. For the week, she averaged 5.0 kills per game and 4.3 digs per game. Murray also recorded seven service aces.
