Magazine Editor Speaks at Luncheon

Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 13, 2006) — Christine Yount Jones, executive editor for “Children’s Ministry Magazine,” will speak at a tea and luncheon at John Brown University on Friday, Sept. 15 from noon to 1:00 p.m. The luncheon will take place in the administrative dining room in the Chapman/Mabee building at JBU. The luncheon is primarily for students majoring in children and family ministry, faculty, and invited children’s pastors from Siloam Springs. Jones will also meet and speak in children and family ministry classes throughout the day.

Jones has worked at Group Publishing with the children’s magazine for more than 17 years. She is also a nationally known speaker and author in the field of children’s ministry. She has authored nine books including “Growing Little Women for Younger Girls,” and “Awesome Volunteers.”

Jones is in Northwest Arkansas to speak at a children’s ministry conference in Springdale, Ark. over the weekend.
