Siloam Springs, Ark. (December 6, 2006) - John Brown University’s soccer player, Terry Andrew, was named an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention this week.
The junior defender from St. Johns, Antigua was the heart of the Golden Eagle defense this past season, and was also named Second Team All Sooner Athletic Conference for his efforts during the Golden Eagles’ 2006 campaign.
Head coach Bob Gustavson says he's happy to have Terry as apart of the team. "Terry played well all season, coming back from a serious thigh injury, and he certainly deserves this honor given by the coaches association," commented Gustavson. " We're very fortunate to have him coming back for one more year in 2007."
The Golden Eagles finished the 2006 season 4-11-3 overall and 1-9-2 in the SAC.
