New M.B.A. Emphasis Added
Siloam Springs, Ark. (January 10, 2007) — John Brown University’s Division of Graduate and Professional Studies is excited to announce that its existing Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program will offer a new option–an emphasis in international business–starting in May 2007.
JBU's Graduate Division of Business currently offers an M.B.A. option with an emphasis in leadership and ethics, and now has added an emphasis in international business in response to expanding market opportunities. The new M.B.A. with an international business emphasis is a 36-hour program offered at JBU's Springdale center and the Sam M. Walton Development Complex in Bentonville. Currently, the 36-hour M.B.A. with leadership and ethics emphasis is offered at JBU’s Springdale center, the Sam M. Walton Development Complex in Bentonville, and at JBU's Fort Smith center.
“You really cannot have a complete, well-rounded business education in today's world without a clear global perspective and understanding of international operations," Dr. Joe Walenciak, graduate business program director, said. “JBU is proud to make this opportunity available to graduate students in the Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas.”
Like all of JBU's graduate programs, the M.B.A. program is designed to be convenient for working adults by holding classes one night a week. The classes provide practical principles that can be applied to the workplace immediately. JBU's curriculum taught by its graduate faculty integrates faith, learning, work and life in ways that transform students and their world.
To be eligible for the program, students must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and must complete JBU’s graduate studies admissions requirements.
People who are interested in learning more about any of the graduate programs are encouraged to call Sue Daugherty in the Graduate Admissions office at 1-866-BE-A-GRAD for a complimentary packet and further information.
