Golden Eagles Knock Out Rangers

Siloam Springs, Ark. (January 11, 2007) — Senior Adam Workman found his groove while helping John Brown earn their first conference win of the season defeating Northwestern Okla. State, 62-52 on Thursday night.

However, Workman wasn’t the only bright spot in the Golden Eagle attack. Junior center Joel Tesis also came out strong posting 17 points and 10 boards to the stat sheet. Shane Hansen led Northwestern (9-5, 1-3) with 17 points and five rebounds.

John Brown (10-5, 1-2) shot an even 40 percent for the game while Northwestern managed to shoot only 30 percent for the contest, which included a dismal 24 percent from three-point range (8-33). The Golden Eagles also out rebounded the Rangers 41-32.

John Brown will travel to Chickasha, Okla. to take on Science and Arts of Okla. on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.
