Men's Soccer Signs All-Star Goalie

Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 15, 2007) — Neosho High School (Mo.) standout, Kendall Daniel, has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer for John Brown University for the 2007 soccer season.

Daniel, a 6-0 goalkeeper from Neosho, Mo., was named 2nd Team All-District Goalie in 2006, and was elected to be a member of the SW Missouri All-Star Team for the 2006-07 season. Daniel, who not only excels on the playing field but in the classroom as well, is also the vice-president of his high school’s honor society.

Bob Gustavson, head men’s soccer coach, knows Daniel will be a great addition to the soccer program. “Kendall is an outstanding student-athlete who should add some depth and strength to our goalkeeping corps,” said Gustavson. “He has a good work ethic and is an excellent communicator.”
