Blended Families Seminar to be Offered to the Public

Siloam Springs, Ark (April 10, 2000) — The PeopleCARE Clinics at John Brown University are offering "Stress: Making Life Light" on April 11 at 7:00 p.m. The free seminar will meet in the Dye Lounge on the campus of John Brown University. This will be the final of the LifeSolutions Seminar series offered this year. The seminar is free and open to the public.

The seminar will focus on ways to manage the daily burden of stresses in your life so you can make your life light. Dr. Shedd McWilliams will be the speaker at the seminar.

"Rarely a week goes by when we don’t hear of some new medical report that chronicles the negative effects of stress," said Dr. Gary J. Oliver, Executive Director of The Center for Marriage and Family Studies. "While stress is a fact of life, there are ways in which we can manage our stress that can help it work for us rather than against us."
