JBU Drama Workshop to Present Comedy

Siloam Springs, Ark (March 3, 2000) — The John Brown University Drama Workshop will be presenting Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In: The JBU Version for its Spring production. Performances will be held in the Jones Recital Hall in the Cathedral of the Ozarks on the campus of John Brown University. Performance dates and times are March 5 at 3:00 p.m. and March 9-11 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

In the spirit of the original laugh-in TV show, which aired from 1968-1973, this production takes the form of a series of short comedic skits and jokes. The humor is corny and at times unpredictable, but always family-friendly. Fans of the original TV show will hear again catch phrases like "Sock it to me!" , "Very interesting!" and "You bet your sweet bippy!".

The show is directed by Dr. Mark Fulk, Assistant Professor of English and Drama, and Mrs. Angela Fulk, Adjunct Instructor of English.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, or by reservation. For more information, or for reservations call 524-7382.
