Men Fall at USAO

Chickasha, Okla. (February 16, 2008) — The Golden Eagles dropped a 66-57 decision to Science and Arts of Okla. on Saturday night in Chickasha.

After entering the break deadlocked at 25 each, JBU fell behind by nine points, 45-36 at the 10:39 mark.

With under 3:00 minutes left, Cody Page and Wes Bron nailed a pair of three pointers to pull JBU within three, 58-55. But the Drovers used late freethrows to pull away in the closing minute.

Four players finished in double-digit scoring for JBU. Brown led the way with 12 points, Page finished with 11, and Andrius Mikutis and Jarrett McGriff had 10 each.

Tim Nelson picked up 20 points for the Drovers.

Up next, JBU (9-16, 2-15) travels to Claremore, Okla. to take on Rogers State on Monday at 8 p.m.
