Netters add two more to fall roster

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 22, 2009) — Megan Tabor, a 5-5 defensive specialist from Hemet, Calif., and Aubrey Adams, a 5-7 setter from Wheaton, Ill., have committed to play volleyball for John Brown University beginning in the fall.

Tabor, who is the daughter of JBU alumni Jeff and Greta Tabor, will transfer to JBU after competing for Mt. San Jacinto College (Calif.) during her freshman year of college.

Prior to playing for Mt. San Jacinto, she competed for Baptist Christian High School (BCS) in Hemet. During this time, she received numerous accolades including being named BCS Female Athlete of the Year and Team Most Valuable Player and Best Defensive Player.

Adams, who captained her Wheaton North High School squad to a successful season this past year, plans to double major in Spanish and psychology or journalism.

She is the daughter of Doug Adams and Beth and Ben Fulton.

Head volleyball coach Robyn Daugherty said that she’s thrilled to have both players join the program next season and knows they’ll do well in the JBU community.

“We are excited to have both Aubrey and Megan join us in the fall,” said Daugherty. “They are a great fit for JBU and I look forward to them excelling on the court and in the classroom.”
