JBU Celebrates Performing Arts Center Groundbreaking

Siloam Springs, Ark. (August 31, 2009) — John Brown University celebrated the groundbreaking of the 28,000-square-foot Bill and Donna Berry Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Aug. 27. Due to inclement weather, the celebration was moved to the Kresge Dining Hall.

The new facility is estimated to be completed by August 2010 and will provide much needed space for JBU theater productions, music recitals and performances, small chapel programs, and other special campus events. The construction cost of the center is expected to be $7 million.
