Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 6, 2009) — It was a tough weekend on the west coast for the JBU women's soccer team after falling in two hard fought matches to Point Loma Nazarene on Friday and San Diego Christian on Saturday 3-0 and 1-0 respectively.

Against PLNU, JBU gave up an own goal in the first period and allowed PLNU to score two more late in the second to take the win.

On Saturday, a hotly contested match saw both JBU and SDC hold each other scoreless for nearly 120 minutes. But in the final minute of the second overtime, SDC's Clarissa Wohlfeil put away a long pass from Mireya Flores to give her team the win.

The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 1-2 on the year. Up next, JBU travels to Park (Mo.) to face the Lady Pirates on Saturday at 1 p.m.
