NWA Engaged Seminar to Equip Couples for Lifelong Marriage
Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 3, 2010) — NWA Healthy Marriages, a community service of the Center for Relationship Enrichment (CRE), will offer a seminar for engaged couples on Saturday, March 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lodge at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers. The event is $20 per couple and reservations are required.
“The event will be filled with fun, laughter and vital information,” said Jackson Dunn, NWA Healthy Marriages premarital program coordinator. “It will equip engaged couples with the skills they need for a lifelong marriage. The seminar is for couples of all ages that are engaged or thinking about becoming engaged.”

Speakers Jackson Dunn and Erin Smalley will focus on important topics such as healthy communication, conflict management, marriage expectations and financial management. Those attending the seminar will receive a discussion guide for ongoing couple interaction. Lunch will also be provided. Attending this event qualifies engaged couples for a covenant marriage license, if married in the state of Arkansas.
The Center for Relationship Enrichment at John Brown University was founded in 1998. The Center’s mission is to educate, equip and enrich people for developing healthy relationships through consulting, education, enrichment, resources, research and assessment. The CRE offers marriage preparation, marriage enrichment, and relationships skills services to all of Northwest Arkansas.
