Siloam Springs, Ark. (August 18, 2010) — The John Brown University women’s soccer team is ranked 19th in the country based on the NAIA’s preseason poll released on Tuesday evening.

After winning the regular season SAC title with a 9-1 conference record (12-5 overall), the women were ranked 23rd in last season’s final poll. And with the return of eight seniors this year, the Golden Eagles look to continue climbing up the ladder and hope for a shot at national tournament play.

Lee (Tenn.)received 20 first place votes to claim the top spot. Oklahoma City is the only other SAC team on the list sitting at No. 25.
