Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 2, 2010) — The JBU women’s team were perfect on Saturday defeating Lubbock Christian (Texas) 3-0 and Huston-Tillotson 3-0. The wins move the ladies to 13-8 overall and 3-2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

In their first match, the ladies faced SAC foe LCU (15-5, 3-2) and managed to put them away after a tough three sets (28-26, 25-22, 26-24). Erin Didier paced the team with 18 kills to go along with 11 digs. Alyssa Hanson tallied 39 assists and had 12 digs on the defensive end. Sarah Jordan led the team with 18 digs, while Staci Williamson had four aces.

Against HTU (0-17), the ladies quickly went to work winning 25-12, 25-13, 25-11. Allie Rankin had 12 kills followed by Didier with seven. Hanson totaled 23 assists, while Jordan had 16 digs.

Up next, the ladies travel to Shawnee, Okla. to face No. 16 Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
