In ladies action, Jackie Acevedo secured the hat trick after scoring the game winning goal in overtime. JBU took an early 1-0 lead after Cam Martin scored in the fifth minute. SNU wouldn’t be finished, however, and tied things up after scoring two goals in the final eight minutes of play to force overtime. Acevedo tied it up in the 83rd , and Kira Dowis forced overtime with a goal in the 89th.
The loss drops the 18th ranked Eagles to 5-2-1 overall and 1-1 in SAC play.
