Volleyball knocks out Bacone after three rounds

Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 23, 2010) — The JBU women’s volleyball team finished their three match homestand with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-14) win over Bacone (Okla.) on Saturday afternoon in Bill George Arena. JBU took control from the opening set and number looked behind.

Three players finished the day with double digit kills led by sophomore Erin Didier and senior Amber Wilson both with 11. Junior Allie Rankin added 10. Sophomore Kassie Keeter totaled 20 assists and freshman Kailey Bain added 16. Didier had three service aces.

Defensively, junior Sarah Jordan collected 14 digs and Wilson picked up four blocks.

The win improves the ladies to 17-13 on the year.

JBU returns to action next Friday when the head to Texas to take on SAC foes Lubbock Christian on Friday at 7 p.m. and Wayland Baptist on Saturday at 1 p.m.
