Art Auction to Benefit Disaster Victims in Japan
“We wanted to reach out to the people of Japan and help them with the talents that God has given us,” said Joel Armstrong, Assistant Professor Visual Arts. “The art auction and sale combines our student’s passion for helping people in need along with a passion for creating works of art.”
All proceeds will go to CRASH, Christian Relief, Assistance, Support and Hope, a network supporting Christians doing relief work in Japan and around the world. CRASH provides training to churches and missions and organizes volunteers to assist local ministries in areas where disaster has struck.
The sale will run from 6-8 p.m. Bidding on original works of art will begin at $20.
