JBU Commencement Will Be Held May 10

Siloam Springs, Ark (May 1, 2003) — John Brown University will hold its spring commencement ceremonies on May 10, 2003 on the campus of John Brown University. This year JBU will hold two ceremonies, the first at 10:00 a.m. for traditional undergraduate students in the Walton Health Complex and the second at 3:00 p.m. for graduates from the Advance Program (degree completion) and the Graduate Studies program.

Roger Cross, President/CEO of Youth for Christ/USA will deliver the commencement address at both ceremonies. Cross is a graduate of JBU and has been with Youth for Christ for more than 26 years. He is an ordained minister and currently serves on the John Brown University board of trustees.

The 2003 graduating class at John Brown University includes: 21 candidates for master’s degrees, 190 candidates for traditional undergraduate degrees, and 96 candidates for undergraduate degrees through the Advance Program, JBU’s degree completion program.

This year marks JBU’s 84th commencement ceremony.
