JBU fell to Lubbock Christian University (Texas) in an aggressive five-game match (28-30, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 10-15).

Senior Allie Rankin led the Lady Eagles offensively with 19 kills.  Junior Erin Didier and sophomore Staci Williamson contributed 15 and 10 kills respectively. Senior libero Sarah Jordan paced the team defensively with 17 digs.  Didier had 13 digs followed by Williamson and sophomore Kailey Bain, both contributing 11 digs.

The Lady Eagles take the court again on Saturday in Bill George Arena at 1 p.m. against Wayland Baptist University (Texas).
