Siloam Springs, Arkansas (October 28, 2011) - John Brown University invites the community on a trip through the wonder and darkness of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales with the production of the Tony Award-winning musical, “Into the Woods”. The performance will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov.4-5, and Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11-12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Berry Performing Arts Center.
With songs and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, “Into the Woods” humorously combines a number of classic fairy tales into one sparkling, over-arching narrative. The 22 member cast includes JBU students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Seats are guaranteed until 15 minutes prior to the performance start, at which time JBU reserves the right to release any unclaimed seats for re-sale. Ticket-holding patrons should be seated at 15 minutes before event start time. Due to the dark moments in the musical, parental discretion is suggested.
